AnnMann Designs is a design studio which takes inspiration from the architectural world of man and nature to invoke structural wearable pieces. Based in Kansas City, and founded by Christine Nelson. Christine, or Christie, (she’ll go by either) found her way to the Metalsmithing department at the University of Kansas after abandoning another major. After a few years of school and learning the basics, Christie started becoming more aware of her surroundings and how certain architectural elements could make incredible wearable pieces.
Continued education of graphic design lead Christie into presentation design in the corporate world. Where the design challenge becomes taking complex; concepts, stories and connections; and transforming them into a visually pleasing presentation.
